<br /> 30 <br /> RESOLUTION 1983-58R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS ACCEPTING THE PROVISIONS <br /> OF STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC <br /> TRANSPORTATION MINUTE ORDER NUMBER 8116900077. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, has requested <br /> assistance in the reconstruction of Loop 82 from Interstate <br /> Highway 35 to Bugg Lane, (a distance of approximately 1.1 miles) <br /> in the said City of San Marcos; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Loop 82 is included in the Urban System for Federal- <br /> aid Urban System fund purposes; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the State Department of Highways <br /> and Public Transportation to assist said City in such reconstruc- <br /> tion; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said Department has tendered its proposal for said <br /> reconstruction to said City as contained in State Department <br /> of Highways and Public Transportation Millute Order No. 81l6900077, <br /> passed August 25, 1983, a copy of which is attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, <br /> said Minute Order to become operative upon its acceptance by said <br /> City as provided therein; and, <br /> WHEREAS, a motion was made by Betty Jane Kisslerand seconded <br /> by Gerald Farr , that the City of San Marcos accept the <br /> proposal contained in Minute Order No. 8116900077 passed by the <br /> State Department of Highways and Public Transportation on August <br /> 25, 1983, for the improvement by said Department of Loop 82 from <br /> Interstate Highway 35 to Bugg Lane, (a distance of approximately <br /> 1. 1 miles) in the City of San Marcos, Texas; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas <br /> voted on the Motion as follows: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Kissler, Kreczmer. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: None. <br /> The following Council Members were not present: Fred Guerra, <br /> Jaime Moore and Mayor Emmie Craddock. <br /> WHEREUPON, the Motion was declared carried; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART l. That the proposal contained in Minute Order No. <br /> 8116900077, passed by the State Department of Highways and Public <br /> Transpor.tatìoJ;l, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit" A" <br /> and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and the <br /> same is hereby approved in all respects. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute said Resolution <br /> on behalf of said City, <br /> PART 3.
