<br /> September 13, 1983 <br /> SERVICE PLAN FOR ANNEXED AREA <br /> JASBA - IH 35 SOUTH <br /> Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10, Article 970a, <br /> V.A.C.S., there is hereby adopted for the proposed <br /> annexation area the following plan of service: <br /> 1. Police <br /> Patrolling, response to calls, and other routine <br /> police services using present personnel and equipment <br /> will be provided immediately on the effective date <br /> of annexation. <br /> 2. Fire <br /> Fire protection by the present personnel and equipment <br /> of the Fire Department, within the limitations of <br /> available water, will be provided immediately on the <br /> effective date of annexation. <br /> 3. Solid Waste Collection <br /> The City of San Marcos does not provide for solid waste <br /> pickup. Arrangement for solid waste collection will <br /> have to be made with private haulers. <br /> 4. Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Facilities <br /> The standards and policies now established in the current <br /> City extension policies will be followed in maintaining <br /> and expanding the water and wastewater facilities in the <br /> annexed area. <br /> 5. Maintenance of Roads and Streets <br /> The same standards and policies now used by the City will <br /> be followed in maintaining and expanding public roadways <br /> and streets in the enlarged city limits. Currently, <br /> there are not public streets in the JASBA tract. In the <br /> event that public roads are provided on the JASBA tract, <br /> maintenance will be provided. <br /> 6. Maintenance of Public Parks, Playgrounds, Swimming Pools, <br /> and any other Parks and Recreation Department Facility or <br /> Building. <br />
