<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT
<br /> TO FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. FOR CONSULTING
<br /> SERVICES RENDERED TO SAID CITY FROM JANUARY
<br /> 25, 1982 THROUGH JULY 24, 1983 IN CONNECTION
<br /> WITH PHASE III OF THE REVIEW AND UPDATE OF
<br /> THE SAN MARCOS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND DEVELOP-
<br /> MENT RELATED ORDINANCES AND POLICIES; AUTH-
<br /> ORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF
<br /> $l3,232.00 AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas engaged the
<br /> services of Freese and Nichols, Inc., Consulting Engineers,
<br /> for consulting services in connection with Phase III of
<br /> the review and update of the San Marcos Comprehensive Plan
<br /> and development related ordinances and policies; and
<br /> WHEREAS, said services were provided pursuant to a
<br /> contract between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Freese
<br /> and Nichols, Inc. entered into on March 10, 1980 and amend-
<br /> ments thereto made on June 23, 1980 and February 6, 1981; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on October 31, 1983, Joe Garza, Director of
<br /> Planning for said City, determined that Freese and Nichols,
<br /> Inc. has completed all requirements of its contract,and
<br /> amendments thereto, with said City; and
<br /> WHEREAS, Joe Garza has recommended that final payment
<br /> be made for said services; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br /> MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the consulting services rendered by Freese
<br /> and Nichols, Inc. to the City of San Marcos, Texas from Janu-
<br /> ary 25, 1982 through July 24, 1983 in connection with Phase
<br /> III of the review and update of the San Marcos Comprehensive
<br /> Plan and development related ordinances and policies have been
<br /> completed in substantial compliance with that contract of March
<br /> 10, 1980,and the amendments thereto made on June 23, 1980 and
<br /> February 6, 1981, between the City of San Marcos, Texas and
<br /> Freese and Nichols, Inc.
<br /> PART 2. That final payment in the amount of $13,232.00
<br /> to Freese and Nichols, Inc., in full and final payment for
<br /> said services is hereby authorized.
<br /> PART 3. That payment in the amount of $13,232.00 to
<br /> Freese and Nichols, Inc. shall be made from Account Nos.
<br /> 54-11-860l, 54-12-8008, 54-13-8003 and 54-00-2515.
<br /> PART 4. That this Resolution shall become effective
<br /> immediately from and after its passage.
<br /> ADOPTED this 14 day of November , 1983.
