<br /> 68 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1983-63R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL <br /> PAYMENT TO FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. FOR <br /> CONSULTING SERVICES RENDERED TO SAID CITY <br /> FROM MARCH 21, 1983 THROUGH JULY 24, 1983 <br /> IN CONNECTION WITH PHASE IV OF THE REVIEW <br /> AND UPDATE OF THE SAN MARCOS COMPREHENSIVE <br /> PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT RELATED ORDINANCES AND <br /> POLICIES; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $2,262.00 AND DECLARING AN EFFEC- <br /> TIVE DATE. <br /> WHE REAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas engaged the <br /> services of Freese and Nichols, Inc., Consulting Engineers, <br /> for consulting services in connection with Phase IV of the <br /> review and update of the San Marcos Comprehensive Plan and <br /> development related ordinances and policies; and <br /> WHEREAS, said services were provided pursuant to a con- <br /> tract between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Freese and <br /> Nichols, Inc. entered into on February 22, 1982; and <br /> WHEREAS, on October 31, 1983, Joe Garza, Director of <br /> Planning for said City, determined that Freese and Nichols, <br /> Inc. has completed all requirements of its contract with <br /> said City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Joe Garza has recommended that final payment <br /> be made for said services; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the consulting services rendered by Freese <br /> and Nichols, Inc. to the City of San Marcos, Texas from March <br /> 21, 1983 through July 24, 1983 in connection with Phase IV <br /> of the review and update of the San Marcos Comprehensive Plan <br /> and development related ordinances and policies have been com- <br /> pleted in substantial compliance with that contract of Febru- <br /> ary 22, 1982 between the City of San Marcos, Texas and Freese <br /> and Nichols, Inc. <br /> PART 2. That final payment in the amount of $2,262.00 <br /> to Freese and Nichols, Inc., in full and final payment for <br /> said services is hereby authorized. <br /> PART 3. That payment in the amount of $2,262.00 to <br /> Freese and Nichols, Inc. shall be made from Account No. 54- <br /> 11-8601. <br /> PART 4.
