Hold a contest to develop a San Marcos Sesquicentennial Logo to be used in <br /> conjunction with the State Logo on all printed forms. <br /> 17. A committee to develop a San Marcos Cacheted Cover for Philatelic sales of <br /> the Texas Sesquicentennial stamp. <br /> 18. An Oral History project under the direction of Merry Kone Fitzpatrick will <br /> involve both High School and University students. To be permanently housed in <br /> the San Marcos Public Library. <br /> 19. Texas - South Australia International Exchange. We will hopefully develop <br /> a program. <br /> 20. Several souvenier items will be produced by the Committee as fund raising <br /> projects. <br /> 21. Southwest Texas State University's cultural events and Homecoming wi 11 re- <br /> flect the Sesquicentennial Theme including moments of history when appropriate. <br /> 22. CHILYMPIAD - Encourage theme to reflect Sesquicentennial. Parade, Queen's <br /> Contest, Cook-off, etc. <br /> 23. Festival on the River - a one day event that would reflect our heritage, in- <br /> cluding music, foods, costumes, etc. -- to be held in the fall of 1986. <br />
