<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Detailed subsurface utility evaluations; <br />Legal easement or plat surveys; <br />The deSIgn of improvements for existmg potable water booster pump stations or <br />new potable water booster pump statIOns. <br />Investigation and remediation of possible hazardous waste, asbestos, lead paint or <br />other types of contamination. <br />DeSIgn services for change orders or addenda, in excess of two, and for RFI' s in <br />excess of four only if the change order, addendum or RFI is necessary due to a <br />change in the work imtlated by the City, through no fault of the Engineer. <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full infonnation to the Engineer regardmg the CIty's requirements for the <br />Engmeer's servIces under thIS Agreement. The CIty will furnish the Engineer with copies of <br />official City design standards and construction standards, and other data and infonnation m the <br />CIty's possession needed by the Engmeer at the Engmeer's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Designate Jennifer Shell PE, Senior Engmeer as the City's ProJect Manager and <br />authorized representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City <br />will examme the documents and mfonnation submitted by the Engineer and promptly render <br />responses to the Engineer on issues requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary proVIsions for the Engineer to enter public and <br />private property as required for the Engineer to perfonn ItS services under this Agreement. <br /> <br />2.4 Resolvmg property ownership Issues including obtaining fights of entry for survey crews <br />to complete topographic surveys. <br /> <br />2.5 Bear all costs mcidental to this Article. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> <br />3.1 DEFINITION <br /> <br />3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the City of all elements of <br />the Project designed or specified by the Engineer. <br /> <br />3.1.2 The construction cost will mclude at current market rates, mcluding a reasonable <br />allowance for overhead and profit, the cost of any equipment whIch has been designed, specified, <br />CEC - Quail Run Waterline Agreement <br /> <br />9 <br />
