RESOLUTION 2014 -79R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AUTHORIZATION FOR A <br />CHANGE IN SERVICES UNDER AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND BLX GROUP, LLC FOR THE PROVISION OF ARBITRAGE <br />REBATE COMPLIANCE SERVICES FOR THE FINANCE <br />DEPARTMENT AND TO INCREASE THE TOTAL CONTRACT <br />AMOUNT FROM $101,000 TO $155,000.00 AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />1. On September 1, 2011, the City entered into an agreement with BLX Group, LLC <br />(the "Consultant ") for the provision of arbitrage rebate compliance services (the "Agreement ") <br />for the City's Finance Department in a not to exceed amount of $47,000.00. <br />2. On January 7, 2013, the City's approved, ACIS No. 1 for the extension of its <br />services to cover arbitrage rebate compliance services for FYE 2012 and FYE 2013 in the <br />estimated not -to- exceed total of $101,000.00. <br />3. The Consultant has submitted, for the City's approval, ACIS No. 2 for the <br />extension of its services to cover arbitrage rebate compliance services for FYE 2014 and FYE <br />2015 in the estimated not -to- exceed total of $155,000.00, which includes an increase of <br />$54,000.00 above the previous contract amount. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: - <br />PART 1. The Agreement between the City and the Consultant, dated September 1, <br />2011 for the provision of arbitrage rebate compliance services in the total amount of $155,000.00 <br />which includes an increase of $54,000.00 above the previous contract amount of $101,000.00; is <br />approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager's execution of the Agreement on behalf of the City is <br />ratified. <br />PART 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 20th day of May, 2014. <br />1 <br />
