Notice of this ordinance, including a Spanish translation thereof, will be <br />published at least once in a newspaper published in San Marcos on or after September 19,2007 and <br />on or before October 22, 2007, and will be posted on the bulletin board at City Hall on or before <br />October 22, 2007. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. If any portion of this Ordinance is held invalid by a court of competent <br />jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative <br />public necessity, and the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances be presented at three <br />separate meetings, and that ordinances do not take effect until ten days after the date of its final <br />passage are suspended, and this Ordinance will take effect upon publication of notice of its adoption <br />in a newspaper of general circulation within the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on September 18, 2007. <br /> <br />ea~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />-3- <br />
