The City Attorney reviewed a map with
Council which showed the utilities, proposed rerouting of utilities
and easements/abandonments. The Council then voted unanimously for approval
of the Ordinance on first reading (Mr. Brown not present to vote on
this item).

Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance
on first reading, the caption which was read as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
MARCOS, TEXAS, M1ENDING ARTICLE IX SAN MARCOS SUNSET
ADVISORY COMMISSION OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE SAN ~ffiRCOS
CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING GOALS FOR THE COMMISSION,
PROVIDING FOR ITS ACTIVATION EVERY THREE YEARS; AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Mr. Farr moved to approve the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler
seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Brown was not present
to vote on this item).

Mayor Craddock advised the next item on the Agenda, 11.E., had not yet
been reviewed by the Parks and Recreation Board, so she moved to table
first reading of the Ordinance until after it had been reviewed by the
Board, and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
