RESOLUTION 2014 -95R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN <br />INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br />AUSTIN, THE AUSTIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE CITY <br />OF GEORGETOWN, HAYS COUNTY, THE CITY OF PFLUGERVILLE, <br />THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TRAVIS COUNTY, THE UNIVERSITY <br />OF TEXAS AND WILLIAMSON COUNTY FOR THE AUSTIN <br />REGIONAL INTELLIGENCE CENTER; RATIFYING THE POLICE <br />CHIEF'S SIGNATURE OF THIS INTERLOCAL COOPERATION <br />AGREEMENT; APPROVING AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE TO THE <br />INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR THE AUSTIN <br />REGIONAL INTELLIGENCE CENTER; APPROVING AMENDMENT <br />NUMBER ONE TO THE INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT <br />FOR SUSTAINMENT FUNDING FOR THE AUSTIN REGIONAL <br />INTELLIGENCE CENTER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR <br />HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE BOTH AMENDMENTS; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Interlocal Cooperation Agreement (the "Agreement ") <br />between the City of San Marcos the City of Austin, the Austin Independent School District, the <br />City of Georgetown, Hays County, the City of Pflugerville, the City of Round Rock, Travis <br />County, the University of Texas and Williamson County for the Austin Regional Intelligence <br />Center ( "ARIC ") is approved. <br />PART 2. The City enters into this Interlocal Cooperation Contract pursuant to the <br />Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br />PART 3. The Police Chief's execution of the Agreement on November 10, 2010 is <br />ratified. <br />PART 4. The attached Amendment One to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement <br />for the ARIC is approved. <br />PART 5. The attached Amendment One to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement <br />for Sustainment Funding for the ARIC is approved. <br />PART 6. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to sign both amendments <br />on behalf of the City. <br />
