iii) Curb stops shall be provided where parking spaces (not including parallel) are located directly adjacent to <br />buildings or sidewalks (interior or exterior) <br />iv) A minimum of one sheltered bicycle parking space shall be provided for each ten dwelling units. <br />v) Bicycle parking shall be located within 150 feet of the entrance to each ground floor unit, measured from <br />the front entrance of the unit and along approved pedestrian paths. The Director may allow alternate <br />bicycle parking configurations, provided that they are determined to have met the intent of this section. <br />vi) Carports and covered bicycle parking shall compliment the primary buildings design theme. <br />vii) The 5 % visitor parking required under 6.2.1.1 shall be signed as "Visitor Parking" and should be located <br />near the amenity center. <br />d) Mailbox location and design - The intent is to provide a safe and sheltered area for cluster mailbox service <br />accommodating multiple residents. <br />i) A weather - protected shelter /facility shall be built to allow for the pickup and drop -off of mail that is safe <br />and provides sufficient light. <br />ii) Pedestrian access to the mailbox location shall be provided and clearly identified as a safe and clear passage <br />for pedestrians. <br />iii) The shelter material and design shall be consistent with the primary building. <br />iv) The shelter shall be well lit and free of blind spots or hiding places. <br />v) The shelter shall incorporate secured trash and recycling bins. <br />No weather protection or secured trash and recycling bins: Weather - protected shelter with material and design that are <br />inappropriate consistent with the primary structure which has clear <br />access: oppropriol.c <br />3 <br />
