<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007- 177 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO PARCELS <br />OF LAND FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY TOTALING 5.6191 ACRES, MORE OR <br />LESS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE WONDER WORLD DRIVE <br />EXTENSION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />PURCHASE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to the Wonder World Drive Extension Pass-Through Toll Agreement <br />between the City of San Marcos, Texas and the Texas Department of Transportation, <br />the City is responsible for acquiring the right of way for the project. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The following purchase of right-of-way in connection with the Wonder <br />World Drive Extension Project is hereby approved: <br /> <br />A. Parcel Number 7, consisting of two tracts, part one being 0.3450 acres, <br />more or less out of the John Williams Survey Abstract 471, and part two being 5.2741 <br />acres, more or less out of the John Williams Survey Abstract 471 and the Thomas <br />Jefferson Chambers Survey Abstract 2, as depicted on the attached property <br />description for Parcel 7, owned by C & G Development, Inc., the parcels being <br />purchased for the total price of $ $103,740.00, including all closing costs. <br /> <br />Part 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute all necessary <br />documents in connection with the right-of-way purchase described above on behalf of <br />the City. <br /> <br />Part 3.
