J <br />CATCHING TII4 E SUS <br />Catching the Bus is easy with a little practice! Ask your bus driver far <br />assistance or call us at 512 805 -Ri DE (7433). We're happy to answer <br />any questions you may have and help you plan your trip! <br />Please review the maps inside this schedule to find out which bus <br />serves your area and how to get where you want to go. <br />The bus will arrive at major stops at the times indicated in the time- <br />table. We suggest you arrive at your stop 5 to 10 minutes early. If <br />you are boarding at a flag stop or at a location between two major <br />stops, use the earlier time as a guide. <br />In areas where there are no bus stop signs, the bus driver will stop at <br />your hand signal, provided it is safe to do so. Choose a corner or in- <br />tersection where the entire bus can pull -over to the curb for safe and <br />convenient boarding. The bus will not stop if the driver determines <br />it is unsafe to do so. To inquire if a bus will stop at your location, call <br />the ride line at 512 805 -RIDE (7433). <br />The route number is displayed on a large marquee sign above the <br />driver and along the side of the bus. <br />If you need to travel on more than one route, ask your driver for a <br />transfer as you depart. There ds no charge for transfers and they are <br />valid for up to 90 minutes from the time of issue. Transfers can be <br />used on any other route, but cannot be used fora return trip. Trans- <br />fers are not round -trip tickets. <br />Drivers will announce major stops. You may signal the operator to <br />stop when the bus is approximately one block from your destination <br />by pulling the bell cord above the windows. Please wait until the bus <br />has come to a complete stop before exiting. Buses will only stop at <br />locations where it is safe for riders to depart the bus. <br />WHILE 0114 IIIi1 ARUl <br />For the comfort of all passengers, smoking, eating, drinking, chew- <br />ing or using illegal substances are prohibited while riding the bus.. <br />Please use a headset when playing an audio device, and keep the <br />volume low so that others are not disturbed.
