Mr. Guerra moved to amend the Resolution to submit the name of Billy Moore, and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion. On roll call of the amendment, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Hernandez, Hart, Morris, Guerra, Kissler, Plummer. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Moore. On roll call for adoption of the Resolution, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Hernandez, Hart, Morris, Guerra, Kissler, Plummer. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Moore. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held September 25, 1989, approval of six Ordinances on second reading, adoption of four Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of six Resolutions and approval for authorization to bid the City of San Marcos' Gary Park Soccer Field Complex by consensus. The Council requested Agenda Items 7.B. (1), 7.D. (4) and 7.D. (6) be considered separately. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the minutes of the September 25, 1989 Regular Meeting, approval of the remaining five Ordinances on second reading, adoption of the four Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of the remaining four Resolutions and approval to authorize bidding the City of San Marcos' Gary Park Soccer Field Complex by consensus and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerra abstaining to Agenda Item 7. B. [5] ). The captions of the Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of Ordinances on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 2-31 OF DIVISION 1 OF ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF POSITIONS WITHIN THE CLASSIFICATION OF POLICE OFFICER, TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF POSITIONS WITHIN THE CLASSIFICATION OF FIRE DRIVER/ENGINEER; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 - TRAFFIC, SECTION 29-111 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION OF A NO PARKING ZONE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF M. L. KING STREET BETWEEN GUADALUPE AND FREDERICKSBURG STREETS, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 - TRAFFIC, ARTICLE V, SECTION 29-150 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION OF A NO PARKING TOW-AWAY ZONE ON FM 621 (STAPLES ROAD), AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 - TRAFFIC, ARTICLE V, SECTION 29-150 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION OF A NO PARKING TOW-AWAY ZONE ON RAMONA CIRCLE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
