RESOLUTION 2014 -146R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AWARDING AN IDIQ MASTER CONTRACT FOR <br />SURFACE /EDGE MILLING TO AARON CONCRETE CONTRACTORS, <br />LP IN THE ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $300,850.00 <br />CONTINGENT UPON THE BIDDER'S TIMELY SUBMISSION OF <br />SUFFICIENT BONDS AND INSURANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE <br />CITY'S BID DOCUMENTS FOR THE PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS <br />PART 1. The award of a construction contract (the "Contract ") to Aaron Concrete <br />Contractors, LP for the IDIQ Master Contract for Surface /Edge Milling (IFB 214 -457) in the <br />estimated annual amount of $300,850.00 is approved contingent upon the bidder's timely <br />submission of sufficient bonds and insurance in accordance with the City's bid documents for the <br />Project. <br />PART 2. The Contract may be automatically renewed for three (3) additional <br />periods of 365 calendar days each. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the contract <br />documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
