ORDINANCE NO. 2014 -57 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS DESIGNATING A NO SEMI - TRAILER PARKING <br />ZONE AT ALL TIMES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE 1900 BLOCKS OF <br />DUTTON DRIVE (FROM WONDER WORLD DRIVE TO THE EAST <br />PROPERTY LINE OF 1909 DUTTON DRIVE); AMENDING THE <br />TRAFFIC REGISTER MAINTAINED UNDER SECTION 82.067 OF THE <br />SAN MARCOS CITY CODE TO REFLECT SUCH DESIGNATION; AND <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The designation of a no semi - trailer parking zone at all times on both sides of the <br />1900 blocks of Dutton Drive (from Wonder World Drive to the east property line of 1909 Dutton <br />Drive) is in the interest of the public health, safety and welfare. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />SECTION 1. A no semi -truck parking zone, to be in effect at all times, is hereby <br />designated on the on both sides of the 1900 blocks of Dutton Drive (from Wonder World Drive <br />to the East Property Line of 1909 Dutton Drive), as depicted in the map attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein for all purposes as Exhibit "A ". <br />SECTION 2. The Traffic Register maintained under section 82.067 of the San Marcos <br />City Code is amended to reflect the no parking tow -away designation established under Section <br />1. <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is <br />held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of <br />this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br />SECTION 4. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in <br />conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br />SECTION 5.
