r I MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE URBAN RENEWAL BOARD OF COMMIS- SIONERS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, HELD TUESDAY, APRIL 15, 1980. COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Yancy Yarbrough, Chairman Richard Cruz Karen Parks E. S. Duran ~ CITY STAFF PRESENT: Albert Sierra Chairman Yarbrough called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Chairman Yarbrough conducted Roll Call. 'Acknowledgment was made of the posting of the "Notice Of Meeting", which was posted on Friday, April 11, 1980. Chairman Yarbrough presented the minutes of the March 11 meeting for consideration. Mr. Cruz moved to accept the minutes as read and Ms. Parks seconded the motion, the motion carried unanimously. The first item of business was to receive a bid for purchase of parcel number 26A-9 (Jackman Street) which was submitted by Chester Brown. The amount of the bid was $2,000.00, and Mr. Duran moved to accept the bid of $2,000.00 and Ms. Parks provided the second. The motion carried. LI The next item of business was to consider condemnation on the property identified as parcel 35A-5, owned by C.D. Williams. Mr. Cruz moved to condemn the property and Mr. Duran provided the second, and the motion carried unanimously. The final item of business was to establish land values on the Emzy Downing property as per the attached Proc1aimer Certificate. Mr. Cruz moved to accept the in-house appraisal of $2,500.00 and Mr. Duran seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. There being no further business to come before the commission, Chairman Yarbrough declared ,the meeting adj ourned.
