M. HIGHWAY 2439 IN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS; DEFINING SPEEDING AND FIXING A PENALTY THEREFOR; DECLARING WHAT <br />MAY BE A SUFFICIENT COMPLAINT IN PROSECUTIONS HEREUNDER; WITH A SAVING CLAUSE <br />REPEALING CONFLICTING LAWS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />Section I <br /> <br />It is hereby determined upon the basis of an Engineering and Traffic inves- <br />tigation that the prima facie maximum speed limit on those portions of R. M. <br />Highway 2439 routed in the City Limits of San Marcos, is as hereinafter <br />stated, which prima facie maximum speed shall be effective at all times and <br />signs will be erected giving notice of the prima facie maximum speed limit <br />so declared to wit. <br /> <br />Speed Zone <br /> <br />R. M. Highway 2439 <br /> <br />For North Bound Traffic: <br /> <br />Beginning at the South City Limit of San Marcos at Station 78+64.8 to <br />Station 66+26.5, a distance of 0.235 miles, a prima facie maximum speed <br />limit of 45 miles per hour. <br /> <br />From Station 66+26.5 to Station 28+83.5, a distance of 0.709 miles~ a <br />prima facie maximum speed limit of 35 miles per hour. <br /> <br />From Station 28+83.5 to Station 15+12.7, a distance of 0.260 miles, a <br />prima facie maximum speed limit of 30 miles per hour. <br /> <br />For South Bound Traffic: <br /> <br />Beginning at Station 15+12.7 to Station 28+83.5, a distance of 0.260 <br />miles, a prima facie maximum speed limit of 30 miles per hour. <br /> <br />From Station 28+83.5 to Station 66+26.5, a distance of 0.709 miles, a <br />prima facie maximum speed limit of 35 miles per hour. <br /> <br />From Station 66+26.5 to the South City Limit of San Marcos at Station <br />78+64.8, a distance of 0.235 miles, a prima facie maximum speed limit <br />of 45 miles per hour. <br />
