Mr. Thomaides stated I he remembered the Council providing direction on the method of putting animals to sleep. Mr. O'Leary stated the Council provided direction for the injection method, which will require modifications to the facilities. 2) Mayor Narvaiz stated the General Land Bank purchase needs to be on the next agenda scheduled for May 16, 2006. 3) Mayor Narvaiz stated she wants to have a status update regarding the taser incident, which occurred at the University. 4) Mr. Bose stated he wants an update on code enforcement. 5) Mr. Bose stated he wants an update on the status of the traffic light synchronization. 5) Mr. Jones stated he wants an update on the Skate Park. 6) Mr. Bose stated he wants an update on the Post Road project. Mr. O'Leary stated the City is currently in the bid process and the project will be awarded in late June or early July. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.074, to discuss appointment of a public officer or employee (Municipal Court Judge). The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 8:54 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene at 9:53 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. Mr. O'Leary stated the Council provided direction to negotiate a contract with a Municipal Judge candidate.
