<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007- 191 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, ESTABLISHING AN AUDIT COMMITTEE THAT WILL MEET <br />ANNUALLY WITH THE CITY'S OUTSIDE AUDITOR TO DISCUSS AUDIT <br />FINDINGS; DETERMINING THAT THE AUDIT COMMITTEE WILL BE <br />COMPRISED OF THE MAYOR, MAYOR PRO-TEM AND DEPUTY MAYOR-PRO <br />TEM CITY COUNCIL POSITIONS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On October 16, 2007, the City Council provided direction to City staff to establish an <br />Audit Committee to meet annually with the City's outside auditors on an informal basis to discuss <br />audit findings. <br /> <br />2. The City Council has determined that this Audit Committee will be comprised of the <br />Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tern and Deputy Mayor Pro-Tern City Council positions. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. An Audit Committee comprised of the Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tern and Deputy <br />Mayor Pro-Tern City Council positions is established. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Audit Committee will meet with the City's outside auditors annually on an <br />informal basis to discuss audit findings. <br /> <br />PART 3.
