<br />1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2007- 188 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WOMEN, <br />INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY <br />AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City contracts annually with the Texas Department of State Health Services <br />for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (the "WIC <br />Program") in Hays, Caldwell, Bastrop, Comal and Guadalupe Counties. <br />2. The City Council wishes to authorize continuation of the WIC Program in the <br />City's 2007-2008 fiscal year. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached WIC Contract between the City of San Marcos and the Texas <br />Department of State Health Services is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the attached <br />contract on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
