Hopkins - Facilites Workshop <br />I. Call To Order <br />With a quorum present, the facilites workshop of the San Marcos City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 11:47 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2014 in the City Hall <br />Conference Room, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Council Member Scott arrived after roll call at 12:05 p.m. <br />Present: 5 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan <br />Thomason, Council Member Jude Prather and Council Member Lisa Prewitt <br />Absent: 2 - Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Wayne Becak and Council Member Shane Scott <br />1. Hold discussion regarding potential City Facilities Projects, and provide direction to <br />Staff. <br />Jared Miller introduced the item and turned it over to Stephen Coulston with Broaduss and <br />Associates for their presentation on Public Safety Facilities Programming. <br />Following discussion the Council provided consensus on moving forward with the City priorities <br />and Facilities Master Plan without a joint law enforcement agency with County. The Council also <br />directed Staff to place an update regarding PSAP on a future meeting agenda. <br />III. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br />None. <br />IV. Adjournment. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, seconded by Council Member Thomason, <br />that the facilities workshop of the San Marcos City Council be adjourned at 1:28 p.m. The <br />motion failed by the following vote: <br />For: 0 <br />Against: 0 <br />Absent: 2 - Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Becak and Council Member Scott <br />r <br />.yam' L e jo ity r el Guerreerroo`, or <br />City of S Page 1 <br />
