<br />Report Submission Deadline Period Covered <br />March 15, 2008 October 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 <br />June 15, 2008 January 1,2008 through March 31, 2008 <br />September 15,2008 April I, 2008 through June 30, 2008 <br />December 15, 2008 July 1 through September 30,2008 <br /> <br />D. Should the CVB, or the Chamber, sponsor a community or arts event, funding such event <br />with funds designated under this contract, the Chamber shall submit a completed "Post Event Report <br />Form," a blank copy of which is attached to this contract as Exhibit "B." <br />3. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER <br /> <br />A. Facility Description. The Tourist Information Center (the "Tourist Center") is owned by <br />the City and is located at 617 IH-35 North in San Marcos, Texas. <br />B. Operation of Center. The Chamber agrees to use CVB Funds for the operation and <br />maintenance of the Tourist Center in accordance with the following: <br />1. The Chamber will endeavor to provide paid and volunteer staffing so that the <br />Tourist Center is open to the public during the following times: <br />Monday - Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br />During these times, the staff will provide assistance to visitors, respond to telephone <br />inquiries, distribute tourism materials and information, maintain records, stock brochure <br />racks and bins, and perform other services and tasks as directed by the Chamber. <br />2. The Chamber shall provide and maintain suitable equipment and materials for <br />effective operation of the Tourist Center, including desks, counters, chairs, brochure racks <br />and bins, computer, copier and telephone equipment, and office supplies. <br />3. The Chamber shall provide routine maintenance of the Tourist Center, including <br />custodial services and minor repairs. If a need arises for maintenance of a non-routine nature <br />(costing $1,000 or more), the Chamber will submit the request to the City, and the City will <br />evaluate and take action to provide the maintenance. The City will provide routine landscape <br />maintenance in the area of the Tourist Center. <br />4. The Chamber shall maintain commercial general liability insurance with respect to <br />its operations and activities at the Tourist Center, and the Chamber shall provide casualty <br />insurance covering the contents of the Tourist Center.
