Regular Meeting November 5, 2007 Page 9 <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration Item 11, removed from the <br />consent agenda, adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />APPOINTING COLLETTE JAMISON AS INTERIM CITY MANAGER AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mr. Guerrero moved for adoption of the Resolution, and Ms. Couch seconded <br />the motion. Mr. Guerrero moved to amend the Resolution to set Collette <br />Jamison's salary as Interim City Manager at $120,000.00, and Mr. Thomaides <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Guerrero moved to amend the Resolution to set Stephanie <br />Garcia's salary as the Interim Economic Development Director at $70,000.00 <br />plus Director package, and Ms. Robertson seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously.
