RESOLUTION 2014 -166R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A HYDRO - <br />EXCAVATOR FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT - <br />WATER/WASTEWATER UTILITY DIVISION IN THE TOTAL <br />AMOUNT OF $378,545.00 FROM SOUTHWEST INTERNATIONAL <br />TRUCKS, INC. THROUGH THE TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT <br />PURCHASING COOPERATIVE BUYBOARD CONTRACT FOR <br />VEHICLES, HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS AND OPTIONS (CONTRACT #430- <br />13); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br />EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of a Hydro- Excavator for the Public Services Department - <br />Water /Wastewater Utility Division from Southwest International Trucks, Inc. through the Texas <br />Local Government Purchasing Cooperative BuyBoard Contract for Vehicles, Heavy Duty Trucks <br />and Options (Contract #430 -13) in the amount of $378,545.00.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br />purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
