Hankins <br />George Boeker <br />Dan O'Leary <br />Donna Farley <br /> <br />Also Present: Nina Pryatel, Rick Fisher, Amy Shaw, Monty <br />Nitchalous, Patty Wenk, Melissa Millecam, Don Henderson, Jim <br />Gandy, Dan Gibson, Richard Dotson, Oscar Carpenter, Robert <br />Taylor, Kelly Kilber and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris asked if there were any more bids for the <br />$2,660,000.00 City of San Marcos, Texas Waterworks and Sewer <br />System Revenue Bonds, Series 1988-A, and there were none <br />(relative to Item 4 on the agenda). <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an <br />appointment to the Library Board. Mr. Moore moved to appoint Pat <br />Lindstrom and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of two <br />appointments to the Plumbing Board of Adjustments and Appeals. <br />Mayor Morris moved to appoint David May, a Master Plumber, to the <br />Board and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. The second appointment of a citizen from the <br />Building Industry will be rescheduled for November 28, 1988. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an <br />appointment to the Reinvestment Zone Number One - JASBA. Mayor <br />Morris moved to appoint Rick Hernandez to replace Dan Graham and <br />Mr. Moore seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote <br />was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Moore, Brown, Morris, Kissler, Plummer. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Hernandez. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced receiving and consideration of awarding <br />bid for $2,660,000.00 City of San Marcos Waterworks and Sewer <br />System Revenue Bonds, Series 1988A. Monty Nitchalous of First <br />Southwest Company opened the bids and read nine bids into the <br />record, including gross interest cost, less premium, if any, net <br />interest cost and effective interest rate. The bids needed to be <br />verified by First Southwest Company, so the Council moved to Item <br />6 on the agenda. <br /> <br />* Mr. Guerra was present at 8:20 p.m. <br />
