Special Meeting December 11, 2007 <br />Page 7 <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the San Marcos -Hays County Emergency Medical Services Board. Ms. <br />Couch moved to reappoint Mr. Guerrero as the City Council <br />representative, which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerrero abstained on <br />himself). <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of three <br />appointments to the Transportation Advisory Board. Mr. Guerrero moved <br />to appoint Roel Elizalde, Mayor Narvaiz moved to appoint Jeffery <br />Jewett, Mr. Thomaides moved to appoint Elizabeth Wills, Mr. Jones moved <br />to appoint Rebecca Conley and Mr. Jones moved to appoint Moe Johnson. <br />on roll call the following vote was recorded: <br />Conley: Porterfield, Bose, Guerrero, Narvaiz, Jones and Couch. <br />Johnson: Bose, Guerrero and Thomaides. <br />Jewett: Porterfield, Narvaiz, Jones and Couch. <br />Wills: Bose and Thomaides. <br />Elizalde: Porterfield, Guerrero, Narvaiz, Thomaides, Jones and Couch. <br />Mr. Conley, Mr. Jewett and Mr. Elizalde received the majority votes and <br />will serve on the Transportation Advisory Board. <br />The Council recessed the Special Meeting at 6:59 p.m. to go into <br />Regular Meeting. Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene <br />at 8:45 p.m. to complete the remaining appointments. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of five <br />appointments to the Youth Commission. Mr. Guerrero moved to reappoint <br />Craig Corbin as a Youth Service representative, Mayor Narvaiz moved to <br />appoint Wendy Ayers as a citizen at large representative, Mr. Guerrero <br />moved to appoint Rob Silug as a citizen at large representative and Ms. <br />Couch moved to appoint Michael Mercado as a citizen at large <br />representative, which passed unanimously. The remaining appointment <br />will be rescheduled. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of four <br />appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mr. <br />Thomaides moved to reappoint Joe Hessalrod as a voting member, Mr. <br />Jones moved to appoint Jude Prather as a voting member, Mr. Thomaides <br />moved to appoint Saul Gonzales as first alternate member, and Mr. <br />Guerrero moved to appoint Ian Skiles as second alternate member, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />
