RESOLUTION 2015 -09R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, ADOPTING GUIDING PRINCIPLES FOR THE 2015 <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS FEDERAL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City of San Marcos works with federal elected officials and federal <br />agencies on issues of importance to San Marcos for the achievement of the City's <br />strategic goals of sound finances, customer friendly services, big picture <br />infrastructure, protecting the San Marcos River, community wellness and <br />encouraging the middle class. <br />2. The City Council recognizes the need for an active federal policy program <br />to ensure that the interests of the City's residents and businesses are protected and <br />enhanced and wishes to establish guiding principles for this program. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Guiding Principles for the 2015 City of San Marcos <br />Federal Policy Program are hereby approved and adopted. <br />PART 2.
