Annexation C &G Development <br />Service Plan 3 commercial corners <br />at Wonder World and Craddock intersection <br />November 17, 2014 AN- 2014 -03 <br />5. Operation and Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Facilities <br />The annexation area is located within the City of San Marcos certified service area for water and <br />is directly adjacent to the City of San Marcos certified service area for wastewater. The <br />development agreement states the following: <br />• Construction of a lift station and associated infrastructure to provide wastewater services <br />to these tracts <br />• C &G shall construct these improvements in accordance with plans and specifications <br />acceptable to the City. <br />• The city hereby agrees to participate in the cost of construction of a public lift station to <br />be built by C &G. <br />The applicant will be responsible for funding all associated equipment, facilities, and <br />appurtenances to extend City water and wastewater services to the property which are not listed <br />above as part of the development agreement. The City will provide water and wastewater service <br />to properties in accordance with the City's development ordinances and utility extension and <br />connection policies in place at the time of development. Upon completion and dedication of new <br />facilities to the City, the City shall provide on -going maintenance and operation of those <br />facilities. <br />6. Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Roads and Streets <br />As new development occurs within the annexed area, the developers of property will be required <br />to construct streets in accordance with the city's existing subdivision policies. <br />7. Electric Service <br />The property is located in the San Marcos Electric Utility service area. The City of San Marcos <br />Electric Utility will provide service in accordance with the City's development ordinances and <br />utility extension and connection policies in place at the time of development. <br />8.Oneration and Maintenance of Parks. Plav2rounds, and/or Swimming Pools <br />No parks, playgrounds and/or swimming pools currently exist within the proposed annexation <br />area. The same standards and policies now established and in force within the city limits will be <br />followed in maintaining and expanding recreational facilities to serve the annexed area. Upon <br />annexation, the owners and residents of property located within the annexed area shall be entitled <br />to the use of all municipal parks and recreational facilities, subject to the same restrictions, fees <br />and availability that pertains to the use of those facilities by other citizens of the city. <br />9.Oneration and Maintenance of Other Public Facilities. Buildings and Services <br />No other public facilities, buildings or services currently exist within the annexed area. The <br />same standards and policies now established and in force within the city limits will be followed <br />in maintaining and expanding other public facilities, building and services. Upon annexation, the <br />owners and residents of property located within the annexed area shall be entitled to the use of <br />all municipal facilities, buildings and services, subject to the same restrictions, fees and <br />availability that pertains to the use of those facilities and services by other citizens of the city. <br />2 1 P a g v <br />
