65 Regular Meeting January 26, 1987 Page 10 Mayor Younger introduced for consideration award of bid on the Public íŸorks Complex and Municipal Building. Jeff Kester and Black and Veatch recommended to Council Drymalla Construction Co., Inc. of Columbus, Texas in the amount of $1,741,747.00 (Base Bid). Mr. Farr moved to award the bid to Drymalla in that amount and encouraged Drymalla to work with Butler if possible and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration authorization to bid the S. McKie-Barbara Drive Water Main. Ms. Kissler moved to authorize bidding and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerra not present to vote on this item). Mayor Younger introduced for consideration authorization to bid the Mimosa-Brown School 12" Waterline. Mr. Farr moved to authorize bidding and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerra not present to vote on this item). Mr. Brown moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252~17, §§2(e) and (g), V.T.C.A., to discuss contemplated litigation and matters where the duties of the City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of Professional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Article 6252-17; complaints or charges against a public officer or employee, respectively, and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerra not present to vote on this item and left the meeting at this time - 11:29 p.m.). Mr. Farr moved the Council reconvene and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (12:15 a.m.). The Council continued consideration of the Ordinance on third and final reading abandoning and vacating a portion of a 16' wide alley, being that portion which abuts Lots 33 and 34 of the Second Division of Park Addition in the City; authorizing the Mayor of the City to exe- cute Special Warranty Deeds; reflecting payment of the fair market value of $180.00. The City Secretary advised the Council abandonment of this alley had been considered and tabled by the Council on July 31, 1978 and on November 14, 1985. Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Kissler, Nicola.
