88 REGULAR MEETING JUNE 22, 1987 PAGE 2 Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Cemetery Commission. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Mr. Frank Ortegon and Mr. Paul Guerrero and Mayor Younger seconded the mo- tion which passed unanimously. One more appointment will be made to this Board at the Regular Meeting July 13, 1987. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Commission For Minorities. Mr. Hernandez moved to appoint Olga Alonzo, Rene Ruiz and John Rodriguez and to reappoint Cathy Cuellar and Mr. Brown seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Ethics Review Commission. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Mike Narvaiz, Jr., Jerry L. Moore, Sr., Ruben Garza and Dr. Stanley Sissom and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Commission For Women. Mr. Guerra moved to table any appointments to this Commission until the Sunset Commission had met and given formal direction to the Council and Mr. Nicola seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE Brown, Guerra, Younger, Hernandez, Nicola NAY Farr ABSTAIN None Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointment to the Citizens Storm Drainage Advisory Board. Mayor Younger stated his nominee had a conflict of interest and would be unable to serve. He stated this appointment would be made at the July 13, 1987 Regular Council Meeting. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Plumbing Board of Adjustments and Appeals. There were no nominations to this Board. It was the consensus of the Council to make appointments to this Board at the July 13, 1987 Regular Council Meeting. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Social Service Agency Board. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Harvey Matthews and to reappoint John Kreczmer and Mayor Younger seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Charter Review Commission. It was the consensus of the Council to make these appointments at the July 13, 1987 Regular Council Meeting. Mr. Nicola stated he would like to see a variety of backgrounds to make up this Board. Messrs. Farr and Guerra concurred with Mr. Nicola. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointment to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor Younger moved to appoint Richard Pustejovsky and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval to appoint members to a Committee to draft a no-Smoking Ordinance.
