<br />129 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />July 13,1987 <br /> <br />Page 14 <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CITY <br />OF AUSTIN FOR A DICTAPHONE RECORDER AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Farr se- <br />conded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE CHIEF <br />OF POLICE OF CHRISTOPHER R. ROLIG, WILLIAM A. KINSEL <br />AND RICHARD W. REES AS MEMBERS OF THE CITY'S POLICE <br />RESERVE FORCE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was reaà as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACT ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS IN DEALING WITH THE TEXAS <br />PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAR- <br />TICIPATING IN THE LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND ACT <br />OF 1965, CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS IS ELI- <br />GIBLE TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE UNDER SUCH PROGRAM, AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Farr seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AND HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br />FOR THE HOLDING OF AN ELECTION ON AUGUST 8,1987; AUTHOR- <br />IZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT <br />ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Farr seconded <br />the motion. Mr. Guerra moved to amend the Resolution for the Hays <br />County Judge's signature to be attested by Ronnie Dannelley, County <br />Clerk, rather than Patsy Greiner, and ~1s. Kissler seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for <br />adoption of the Resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, FINDING THAT AN EXCESS OF $560.95 IN <br />REAL PROPERTY TAXES WAS PAID BY RIO VISTA PARK CORP., <br />FINDING SAID AMOUNT TO BE ERRONEOUS, AUTHORIZING AND <br />APPROVING A REFUND IN SAID AMOUNT BY THE TAX COLLECTOR, <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
