<br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished
<br />to speak for or against the zoning request. Vernon Lemens, owner
<br />of the property, was present to answer questions of the Council. Mr.
<br />Brown asked Mr. Lemens if he was dedicating parkland. Mr. Lemens
<br />stated he was amenable to the dedication of parkland and would do
<br />so in the subdivision process, which he hopes to pursue soon. He
<br />stated he may dedicate the property to SWT rather than the City, but
<br />would bring that proposal to the Council for approval at the proper
<br />time. No one else wished to speak for or against the Zoning request,
<br />so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for
<br />adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Hernandez seconded the mo-
<br />tion, which passed unanimously.

<br />of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows:

<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF PART OF LOT 6, BLOCK
<br />3, OF LINDSAY AND HARVEY ADDITION, AN ADDITION IN HAYS
<br />COUNTY, TEXAS ACCORDING TO THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RE-
<br />CORDED IN VOLUME E, PAGE 416, OF THE DEED RECORDS OF
<br />HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, A/K/A 516 W. HOPKINS STREET, FROM
<br />HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL;
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Brown moved for adoption of
<br />the Resolution and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unani-
<br />mously.
