Box 2062 <br />Georgetown, Texas 78627 <br />Attention: Mr. David Singleton <br />LETTER AGREEMENT <br />Dear Mr. Singleton: <br />This letter will serve as an agreement (the "Agreement ") between Southwest Land Services, Inc. <br />(the "Consultant ") and the City of San Marcos, Texas ( "City") for the Consultant's provision of <br />professional support, advice, and assistance to City staff in the Planning and Development <br />Services Department, Engineering and Capital Improvements Department and the City <br />Manager's Office more particularly described in the Scope of Work below. The Consultant <br />agrees to perform all services in accordance with the City of San Marcos' standard Terms and <br />Conditions for Professional Services Agreements attached as Attachment A. <br />Scope of Work: <br />• Participate in Municipal Utility District, Reinvestment Zone, and Public Investment Zone <br />negotiations and related discussions; <br />• Review update of the Transportation Master Plan; <br />• Assist staff in negotiating development agreements as necessary; <br />• Assist CIP /Engineering Department Director on infrastructure planning issues; <br />• Consult with City Manager and staff on developments including Highpointe, Paso <br />Robles, La Cima, and Airport Improvements; <br />• Provide ombudsman services on specific projects as assigned by the City Manager; and <br />• Any other special projects identified by the City Manager <br />Term of Agreement: <br />The term of this Agreement will begin on March 1, 2015 and end on February 29, 2016. <br />Compensation: <br />City agrees to pay Consultant a fee of $5,000 per month (not to exceed $60,000.00 over the term <br />of the Agreement) for performing the services described in this Agreement. <br />CITY HALL • 630 EAST HOPKINS • SAN MARCOS, TEXAS 78666. 512.393.8150 • FACSIMILE 855.759.2846 <br />SANMARCOSTX.GOV <br />
