Mr. Farr <br />a1 of the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, <br />unanimously (Mr. Guerra present to vote on this item - <br />Brown present to vote on this item - 7:35 p.m.). <br /> <br />the minutes of <br />moved for approv- <br />which passed <br />7 : 31 p. m.; Mr. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption <br />of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, !U1ENDING SECTION 9 1/2-1(a) AND (b) <br />OF CHAPTER 9 1/2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID <br />CITy TO PROVIDE FOR THE FILING IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CITY SECRETARY SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY (SMEU) <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO <br />AND SMEU LINE EXTENSION POLICY AND ANY AMENDMENTS <br />THERETO, TO ADD A SUBSECTION (c) THERETO AMENDING <br />THE INTERIM SMEU ELECTRIC TARIFFS BY ADOPTING SMEU <br />ELECTRIC TARIFFS; ADD A SUBSECTION (g) TO PROVIDE <br />THAT ANY AMENDMENTS TO THE SMEU RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />ADOPTED BY THE SMEU BOARD SHALL BE PROVIDED TO THE <br />CITY SECRETARY AND SHALL REMAIN ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CITY SECRETARY WITH THE ORGINALLY ADOPTED RULES <br />AND REGULATIONS; AMENDING SECTION 9 1/2-3 OF SAID <br />CHAPTER OF SAID CODE TO ADD A SUBSECTION (g) TO PRO- <br />VIDE THAT ANY AMENDMENTS TO THE SMEU LINE EXTENSION <br />POLICY ADOPTED BY THE SMEU BOARD SHALL BE PROVIDED <br />TO THE CITY SECRETARY AND SHALL REMAIN ON FILE IN <br />THE OFFICE OF THE CITY SECRETARY; AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak for or against the Ordinance..
