<br />76 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />October 12,1987 <br /> <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved the Council reconsider Item l2.B., adoption of a <br />Resolution, and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, NOMINATING A CANDIDATE OR CANDIDATES <br />FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAIS- <br />AL DISTRICT FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1988; <br />DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT THE NAME(S) OF THE <br />NOMINEE(S} TO THE COUNTY CLERK OF HAYS COUNTY; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Parr moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mayor Younger se- <br />conded the motion. Ms. Kissler moved to amend the Resolution to <br />nominate Fred Guerra and Mayor Younger seconded the motion. On <br />roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Brown, Farr, Younger, Hernandez, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Guerra. <br /> <br />The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:58 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Farr and <br />seconded by Mr. Brown. <br /> <br />4u£«Þ- <br /> <br />Karl W.
