Sec. 5-17.B. as follows: "... on or after March 10, 1975, . . .," and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on se- cond reading. Mr. Brown moved the Council reconsider Item 7B, an Ordinance which the Council approved on first reading earlier in this meeting, and Ms. lex seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, which caption reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, N4ENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 17-5, SPECIAL EXPENSE FOR DEFENSIVE DRIVING AND REPEALING SECTION 17-4, JURY FEES, AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECT- IVE DATE. Kiss- Mr. Guerra moved the Ordinance be amended to be adopted on emergency and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING CHAPTER 36, SAN MARCOS RIVER CORRIDOR, OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY CORRECTING TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS, CLARIFYING REZONING AND SITE PLAN REQUIREMENTS, INCREASING THE IMPERVIOUS COVER SETBACK, PROVIDING FOR REVIEW OF PLANS BY THE DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENT AND ENGINEERING, INCLUDING AUSTIN BASIN GUIDELINES, EXPANDING SAN MARCOS RIVER CORRIDOR BOUNDARIES, CLARIFYING ENGINEERING REQUIRE- MENTS, ESTABLISHING THE SITE PLAN SCALE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. Mayor Younger moved to amend the Ordinance in Part 1. Sec. 36-2.B. (1), Line 23, from "2000" feet up the Blanco River to "1000" feet up the Blanco River and in the following paragraph, Line 21, from along Purgatory Creek west for a distance of "2000" feet to along Purgatory Creek west for a distance of "1000" feet. . ., and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of two Ordinances on second reading and adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading by consensus. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the two Ordin- ances on second reading and adoption of the two Ordinances on third and final reading by consensus and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mayor Younger voting NAY on Items 10.B.(1) and 10.B. (2)). The captions of these Ordinances read as follows: Approval of Ordinances on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1987-59 AND AMENDING SECTION 29-150 OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NO PARKING/TOW AWAY ZONE ON BOTH SIDES OF PLEASANT DRIVE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
