Mr. Farr moved to amend Part 1. <br />Sec. 5-17.B. as follows: "... on or after March 10, 1975, . . .," <br />and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The <br />Council then voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on se- <br />cond reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved the Council reconsider Item 7B, an Ordinance which <br />the Council approved on first reading earlier in this meeting, and Ms. <br />lex seconded the motion, which passed unanimously, which caption reads <br />as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, N4ENDING CHAPTER 17 OF THE SAN MARCOS <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 17-5, <br />SPECIAL EXPENSE FOR DEFENSIVE DRIVING AND REPEALING <br />SECTION 17-4, JURY FEES, AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECT- <br />IVE DATE. <br /> <br />Kiss- <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved the Ordinance be amended to be adopted on emergency <br />and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br />on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING CHAPTER 36, SAN MARCOS RIVER <br />CORRIDOR, OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY <br />CORRECTING TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS, CLARIFYING REZONING <br />AND SITE PLAN REQUIREMENTS, INCREASING THE IMPERVIOUS <br />COVER SETBACK, PROVIDING FOR REVIEW OF PLANS BY THE <br />DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENT AND ENGINEERING, INCLUDING <br />AUSTIN BASIN GUIDELINES, EXPANDING SAN MARCOS RIVER <br />CORRIDOR BOUNDARIES, CLARIFYING ENGINEERING REQUIRE- <br />MENTS, ESTABLISHING THE SITE PLAN SCALE AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Ordinance on third and final <br />reading and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. Mayor Younger moved to <br />amend the Ordinance in Part 1. Sec. 36-2.B. (1), Line 23, from "2000" <br />feet up the Blanco River to "1000" feet up the Blanco River and in <br />the following paragraph, Line 21, from along Purgatory Creek west <br />for a distance of "2000" feet to along Purgatory Creek west for a <br />distance of "1000" feet. . ., and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for <br />adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of two Ordinances <br />on second reading and adoption of two Ordinances on third and final <br />reading by consensus. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the two Ordin- <br />ances on second reading and adoption of the two Ordinances on third <br />and final reading by consensus and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously (Mayor Younger voting NAY on Items 10.B.(1) <br />and 10.B. (2)).
