RESOLUTION NO. 2015 -53R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN <br />APPLICATION TO THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, <br />CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION, FOR A VICTIM COORDINATOR AND <br />LIAISON GRANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $42,000.00 TO <br />CONTINUE FUNDING FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S VICTIM'S <br />SERVICES PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS AS NEEDED <br />TO ACCEPT AND IMPLEMENT THE GRANT, IF AWARDED; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The submission of an application to the Office of the Attorney General, <br />Criminal Justice Division, for a Victim Coordinator and Liaison Grant in an amount not to <br />exceed $42,000.00 to continue funding for the Police Department's Victim's Services Program is <br />hereby approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute any and all <br />documents as needed to accept and implement said grant, if awarded, on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
