<br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />December 7, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of an expendi- <br />ture in the amount of $12,237.75 from the Escrow Account to Cravens, <br />Dargan and Company (Claim 27192; Policy Vanguard UPF-0432; Claimant, <br />R. W. McDonald Development Corporation; D/L: 3-24-84). Mr. Guerra <br />moved for approval and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced a discussion to approve the City of San <br />Marcos supporting by adoption of Resolution a Class I Horse Racing <br />Track located in Northeast Bexar County and direction for preparation <br />of the Resolution. It was consensus of the City Council not to support <br />this by Resolution at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Hernandez moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br />to Article 6252-17, §2(e), V.A.C.S., to discuss pending litigation <br />(Colatex Land Company vs. City); and matters where the duties of the <br />City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of Professional Respon- <br />sibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Article <br />6252-17 and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously (9:16 p.m.). <br /> <br />Mr. Hernandez moved the Council reconvene at 10:10 p.m. and Mayor <br />Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:24 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Farr and <br />seconded by Mr. Hernandez. <br /> <br />V~úJ. &o'{J~ <br /> <br />k:rl w.
