No one did, so Mayor <br />Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Hart moved for adoption of <br />the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance ~ <br />on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1992-1993 <br />FISCAL YEAR TO COVER OVERRUNS OF DEPARTMENTS WITHIN THE GENERAL <br />FUND; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />Mr. Mooney m9ved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. <br />Moore secondèd the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration reconsideration of a <br />Zoning Ordinance. The Council did not wish to reconsider the <br />Ordinance. The caption of the Ordinance reads as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING <br />A PORTION OF LOTS 11 AND 12, BLOCK 12, FIRST SECTION, VICTORY <br />GARDENS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AS RECORDED IN <br />VOLUME 128, PAGE 46 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT <br />405 ARMSTRONG STREET, FROM "M" (SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND <br />NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO "R-1" (SINGLE-FAMILY <br />DWELLING DISTRICT [LOW DENSITY]) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting held October 11, 1993, approval of two <br />Ordinances on second reading, adoption of an Ordinance on third and <br />final reading, adoption of eight Resolutions, approval of Change <br />Order #3 for the Public Library Construction project in the <br />additional amount of $19,077.00, reconsideration of the Revolving <br />Loan Fund Program award to J & W Donuts in the amount of $12,500.00, <br />approval to set the city Council Regular Meeting dates for December, <br />1993 on Monday, December 6, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. and Monday, December <br />13, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. on consensus. The Council removed Items <br />10.A., 10.D. (8) and 10.F. to be considered separately. Mr. Hart <br />moved for approval of the two Ordinances on second reading, for <br />adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading, for adoption <br />of the remaining seven Resolutions, for approval of Change Order #3 <br />for the Library Project, and for approval of the Regular Meeting <br />dates in December as December 6 and December 13 on consensus and Mr. <br />Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
