As part of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ( "HUD ") <br />Community Development Block Grant Program ( "CDBG ") the City is required to approve a <br />Consolidated Plan (the "Plan ") establishing funding priorities for the City every five years. As <br />the last Plan was approved for the years 2010 -2014, the City must now approve a Plan for fiscal <br />years 2015 -2019. <br />2. In compliance with HUD regulations, a 30 -day citizen comment period was <br />initiated and will conclude on August 10, 2015. <br />3. The City Council, having held a public hearing on the Plan in order to receive and <br />consider citizen comments, wishes to approve the Plan for fiscal years 2015 -2019. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITE' OF SAID MARC ®S, <br />TEXAS: <br />PANT 1. The adoption and publication of the Plan for fiscal years 2015 -2019 as <br />presented to the City Council on this date is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is designated as the official <br />representative of the City authorized to act in all matters related to the CDBG Program, <br />submission of the Plan and all understandings and assurances contained in the Plan, and to <br />provide additional information as required on behalf of the City including but not limited to all <br />comments received during the 30 -day citizen comment period. <br />PART 3.
