1' 1 ' MIFvii <br />1. The Police Department currently uses the QueTel evidence management system to <br />perform inventory management of evidence and property rooms. <br />2. Section 252.022 (7)(D) of the Texas Local Government Code permits a limited <br />exemption from the competitive procurement process if the items to be purchased are available <br />from only one source. <br />3. This Agreement is a sole source procurement because it is the only system that meets <br />the necessary technical specifications for the Police Department. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITE' COUNCIL, OF THE CITE' OF SAN MARC ®S, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Agreement for the sole source procurement of services and <br />equipment from QueTel Coporation for the Police Department in the estimated amount of <br />$101,480.00 is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement <br />on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br />after its passage. <br />ADOPTED this the 4th day of August, 2015. <br />D el er <br />Mayor <br />
