Call To Order <br />'• <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:36 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in <br />the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan <br />Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Shane Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Jude Prather, <br />Council Member Lisa Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson <br />1. Receive a presentation from Chris Tatham of ETC Institute regarding the 2015 City of <br />San Marcos Community Survey results, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Chris Tatham, ETC Institute, provided the Council with a presentation <br />reviewing the results of the 2015 City of San Marcos' Community Survey. <br />Staff will provide the full report including maps to the Council. <br />11111111111110NOTREMOR <br />Pastor Dennis Spire, Calvary Baptist Church, provided the invocation. <br />IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />Council Member Prather led the assembly in the Pledges of Allegiance. <br />V. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period <br />Roscoe Bertsch, addressed the Council regarding bikes lanes and stated that he <br />feels the city roads are unfit and unsafe for most cyclists in town. He would <br />love to see the City incorporate more bike lanes before infrastructure impairs <br />the process. He stated that he has passed around a petition to garner more <br />support for bike lanes in the community. He stated that he hopes the bike lanes <br />will be added sooner rather than later. <br />City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
