Call To Order <br /> With a quorum present, the packet meeting workshop of the San Marcos City <br /> Council was called to order by Mayor Pro Tern Jude Prather at 12:01 p.m. <br /> Friday,July 17, 2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San <br /> Marcos, Texas 78666. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Present: 4- Council Member John Thomaides, Mayor Pro-Tern Jude Prather, Council Member <br /> Lisa Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson <br /> Absent: 3- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member Ryan Thomason and Deputy Mayor Pro <br /> Tern Shane Scott <br /> 1. Receive a Staff presentation of the Annual Program Update for the Main Street <br /> Program, and provide direction to Staff. <br /> Main Street Chair, Molly Ann Garcia provided an update to Council on the <br /> Main Street Program which included a summary of 2014, an overview of <br /> programs completed in 2015 and a preview of 2016 plans. <br /> Council asked for a list of all downtown business owners that have non <br /> compliant signage. Kristy Stark, Assistant Director of Planning and <br /> Development Services, stated there is not a complete list, but this is something <br /> they can re-visit and look into creating. <br /> 2. Receive a presentation and annual update from the Arts Commission, and provide <br /> direction to staff. <br /> Arts Commission Chair, Clay Destefano provided the annual report and <br /> presentation to Council. The report outlined progress that was made during <br /> the previous year by the Arts Commission. <br /> 3. Consider Staff briefing and Council Member discussion and questions regarding items <br /> on the agenda for July 21, 2015 Regular City Council Meeting, to wit Items (1-30). <br /> 1. Presentation from Chris Tatham of ETC Institute regarding the 2015 City of San <br /> Marcos Community results. <br /> City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
