The motion carried unanimously. <br />27. Question and answer session with press and public. <br />Andy Sevilla, NewStreamz, asked who the chief interviewed regarding the noise ordinance. The <br />Mayor replied it was the Apartment Association, ASG, property managers, and the Board of <br />Realtors. Mr. Sevilla asked if the Purgatory Creek decision correlated to the goals of the city, of <br />listening to the citizens, after hearing from the Citizen Summit that they did not want more <br />apartment housing. The Mayor replied that data is still being compiled. She noted that Council <br />had also heard from many that were in favor. Tonight's action incorporated many conditions to <br />address citizen concerns. <br />28. Adiournment. • <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular session <br />of the San Marcos City Council at 11:43 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009.
