City Council <br />San Marcos, TX <br />Petition for the Control of the Deer Population <br />in the City of San Marcos <br />We, the undersigned, respectfully request the City Council of San Marcos to carefully consider <br />the following: Elimination of two-thirds of the current population of deer and making it illegal <br />to feed the deer within the city limits. <br />1. Thousands of dollars worth of landscaping is eaten up and/or killed by deer which are especially <br />hungry because of the over-population and the drought. <br />2. Many people feed the deer which encourages them to stay in the residential neighborhoods and <br />also promotes fertility. <br />3.
