City Council <br />San Marcos, TX <br />Petition for the Control of the Deer Population <br />in the City of San Marcos <br />We, the undersigned, respectfully request the City Council of San Marcos <br />to carefully consider the following: Elimination of two-thirds of the current <br />population of deer and making it illegal to feed the deer within the city <br />limits. <br />Facts: <br />1. Thousands of dollars worth of landscaping is eaten up and/or killed by deer <br />which are especially hungry because of the over-population and the drought. <br />2. Many people feed the deer which encourages them to stay in the residential <br />neighborhoods and also promotes fertility. <br />3.
