Ms. Hughson stated that she
is opposed to single-member districts in general although there are
some reasons for it because it would be easier and cheaper to run
for office but she is concerned about the disadvantages because she
would hate to see this Councilor whoever is elected in the future
to give in as to what we have seen other governmental bodies done.
Ms. Hughson stated that her concern is that there are not enough
council seats to give every different kind of person a seat.
