RESOLUTION NO. 1981-72R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING PAYMENT FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY SEVEN DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS ($1,377.50) TO PRO-TECH ENGINEERING GROUP, INC., FOR CONSULTATION AND ASSISTANCE IN NEGOTIATION AND PREPARATION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF 103 ACRES OF LAND FROM THOMAS R. HOLT FOR POSSIBLE USE AS A SITE FOR THE DISPO- SAL OF SOLID WASTES AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos had need of assistance in the negotiation and preparation of an agreement for the purchase of land as a possible site for the disposal of solid wastes; and, WHEREAS, Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc. was found to be capable of providing said services; and, WHEREAS, said City has received a bill in the amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($1, 377.50) from Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc. , for said services; and, 92 WHEREAS, the City Council of said city hereby finds and determines that said services have been performed in a satisfactory manner; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That payment in the amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($1,377.50) be made to Pro-Tech Engineering Group, Inc., of San Marcos, Texas, for services of consultation and assistance in the negotiation and preparation of an agreement for the purchase of 103 acres of land from Thomas R. Holt as a possible site for solid waste disposal. PART 2. That said payment be made from the contingency fund of city, said expenditure being an emergency because of the pressing need to acquire such a site. PART 3.
