-37- <br />(B) The provisions of Article 705b of the <br />Penal Code of the State of Texas to- <br />gether with future amendments thereof, <br />are adopted as a portion of this section, <br />insofar as applicable. <br />(2) Tests and Examinations for Tuberculosis Pre- <br />requisite to Issuance. Any person required <br />by this article to have a health certificate <br />must obtain a current tuberculin skin test <br />and/or chest x-ray. If the tuberculin skin <br />test is positive it must be followed by a <br />chest x-ray before a health certificate may <br />be issued. The tuberculin skin test may be <br />obtained from any private physician, licensed <br />to practice in the state, or from the city <br />health department. Chest x-rays, if required, <br />may be obtained from any physician licensed to <br />practice in the state, any hospital licensed to <br />operate in the state, or from the city health <br />department, or any source approved by the <br />Hays County Medical Association. The chest x- <br />ray film or plate must be held by the person <br />or agency taking the x-ray for a period of six <br />(6) months and be available for examination by <br />the health officer of his authorized representative. <br />(3) Issuance: Forms. When the results of the <br />tuberculin skin test and/or chest x-ray reveals <br />no evidence of tuberculosis, a health certificate <br />may be issued which shall expire twenty-four (24) <br />months from the date issued. The health officer <br />is hereby authorized to adopt a form for the <br />certificate, plan of registration and such other <br />record keeping as will benefit the physicians and <br />the San Marcos-Hays County Unit. <br />(4) Registration: Record to be Kept: Charge. <br />(A) Each person receiving a health certificate <br />shall, prior to reporting for work, go to <br />the San Marcos-Hays County Health Unit and have <br />the health certificate stamped and registered. <br />It shall be the duty of the San Plarcos-Hays <br />County Health Unit to provide a permanent <br />record of all certificates issued, to whom <br />issued, the date issued and such other data <br />as the health officer may deem proper. <br />(B) As an administrative charge for registering <br />the health certificate and performing other <br />work involved, the city health department <br />shall make an administrative charge of <br />four dollars ($4.00). The city health depart- <br />ment shall make no charge for the giving and <br />reading of the tuberculin skin test. <br />(f) Procedure When Infection is Suspected. <br />(1) General. When the regulatory authority has <br />reasonable cause to suspect the possibility <br />of disease transmission from any food service <br />establishment employee, it may secure a morbidity <br />history of the suspected employee or make any <br />other investigation as may be indicated and shall <br />take appropriate action. The regulatory authority <br />may require any or all of the following measures: <br />(A) The immediate exclusion of the employee from <br />all food service establishments;
